I have been working on fancy bezel pendants to go with my gussied-up rings, and here is what has emerged. Since I’ve been an artist long enough to know that I never make anything that doesn’t somehow reflect what is going on in my head or in my heart, I figured our current covid-19 crisis would inevitably pop up somehow in my jewelry. With these necklaces I’m not sure but here’s some theories. They are: guidance instruments, like telescopes. Or talismans to ward off bad health. Or, given the ugly rumbles that pop up on my Facebook feed, translation devices for people with differing opinions.
